I’m very excited to add Erik Scott to my roster of teachers. I can count the musicians on one hand that I know that are excellent teachers with the ability to communicate to people who are to learning an instrument. Erik definitely falls in this catagorie of being a high calibre Drummer and all around instrumentalist as well as an excellent Teacher.

About Erik:
With over 15 years experience as both a studio and live drummer, multi-instrumentalist Erik Scott has carved out a unique style and approach all of his own. His emphasis on teaching well rounded musicianship bridges the gap between inspiration and technical proficiency.
Lesson plans are catered to the needs and interests of each student with the mind-set that learning should be a fun and motivating experience.
He has toured alongside artists such as Metric, David Sinclair (Sarah McLachlan), Bif Naked, Matthew Good, as well as performed dates on the Vans Warped Tour and The Whistler Ski & Snowboard Festival. Studio work has included sessions with producers Jeff Dawson (Holly McNarland, State Of Shock, Marcy Playground), Warne Livesey (Matthew Good Band, Midnight Oil), Shawn Penner (Mother Mother) and mixer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Jimmy Page)
